Josh Okello (BA 2014), a third-year Business Administration student in the International Development track, was born in Kenya. Josh started a ministry called Dress Africa. His mission was to provide food and clothing to some of the poorest people in Kenya –something he had to do for his own family. Seeing his passion for local development initiatives, a friend recommended Josh apply to Tyndale. After being accepted, he worked for two years to pay for his airfare to Canada. In his first semester at Tyndale, his funding source ran out; Josh thought that he would have to return to Kenya. That was until he met Keith Brink (BA 2013), another Tyndale business student who helped Josh raise money to pay his tuition.
When you give to Tyndale, you make it possible for people like Josh to finish their education so they can make an impact in countries like Kenya. Your impact has global reach! Your giving enables people like Josh to act as agents of transformation as the Spirit leads in new and exciting ways.
